Hurricane Dorian's Effect on Rhode Island this Weekend
9/5/2019 (Permalink)
Rhode Island is expected to be hit with rain as a result of Hurricane Dorian traveling up the east coast. This information is courtesy of weather.com
Friday - 90% chance of PM Rain / wind
Saturday - 70% chance of AM Showers
Sunday - Mostly Sunny
Monday - Partly Cloudy light winds
It does not look like the weather will be too precarious, but it's wise to exercise caution and to change your usual routine to accommodate a potential storm and to stay safe. Dangers of flash flooding or at least 2-4 inches of rain are present, so be aware. After all, sometimes the forecast is not accurate so we might even get MORE rain than anticipated - you just never know.
