Cooling Centers Open During Heat Wave

It's about to get really hot! with the recent heat wave approaching, people might worry about their well-being if they don't have air-conditioning in their home or office. The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency has listed numerous locations in all major Rhode Island cities and towns where cooling centers will be running.

East Greenwich: Swift Community Center
Burrillville: Jesse Smith Library
Exeter: Exeter Library
Block Island (New Shoreham): Island Free Library
Woonsocket - Woonsocket Harris Public Library
Warwick: Warwick Public Library, West Warwick Public Library, West Warwick Youth & Police Annex

Cooling centers are open for several hours most if not all days this week, so please put yourself and your loved ones first and seek habitable and safe temperatures.
