Rain Storm Ruins Electrical Wiring

SERVPRO of Northern Rhode Island was called to a Johnston, Rhode Island home after a recent rain storm found its way into the homes structure, and caused an electrical outage in the home's hallway. As you can tell in the photos, the entire wall on the one post had to be removed, so that the water damage could be accurately assessed and accounted for. Since the water had come in contact with the wiring, the old one's had to be removed, carefully, to ensure no further damage would be done to the home such as an electrical fire. The homeowner was very pleased with our ability to come in and find the source of damage, as well as accurately pinpoint electrical damage.
